Job Opportunities with NTT SYSTEMS INC.

We are looking for people who have experience specifying, designing and implementing significant desktop applications and who are able to use a wide variety of tools.

We are working on challenging and interesting, engineering and scientific projects based on current technology. These include:

XML based applications that collect and publish a variety of information.
Questionnaire and survey management tools.
Knowledge management tools for experimental scientists.
Control systems for psychological experiment environments.
Desktop JAVA systems (SWING UI).
Internet based archiving and retrieval systems.
MSSQL, Access and ORACLE database applications.
A variety of tasks and support systems related to cognitive and social psychology research.

Suitable candidates will have hands-on experience with .NET technology, JAVA, XML schema design, and XSL transforms and have created, installed, and supported real Gui-intensive, interactive, desktop systems. We need people who understand not only the state of the art, but also how to stay safely behind the bleeding edge. Our job is to deliver real working systems to real customers who depend on them for functionality and reliability.

You will be interacting directly with the people who will use the systems that you create. Not only will you work with them to define requirements, but you will also be responsible for producing both internal and user documentation and manuals. This means that excellent oral and written communication skills are as important as design and programming skills.

Mandatory Requirements:

Significant experience developing interactive desktop applications.
University computer science, math or engineering degree.
5 yrs. post graduate experience (or experience and co-op terms).
Experience on multi-person, complex projects.
OO design experience including UML representations.
Significant C# and other .NET experience.
Experience developing JAVA/AWT/SWING applications.

MCAD.NET certification is an advantage, but not required..

This job is not suitable for those whose experience is primarily with web-based and financial applications.
